Quinoa for lunch
The other day my friend texted me about his recent interest in clean eating, cutting out processed, MSG and GMO foods. He said he struggles with putting meals together and what to make for lunch. Continue Reading →
Veggie Heaven
If you are looking for Vegan Chinese food – look no further. My boyfriend brought me here on our first official “date” and, to be honest, I didn’t have high expectations because, well, the place was in…New Jersey. Continue Reading →
Kajitsu
Apologies for all the restaurant talk about eating here and wanting to go there. A part of me feels like I hardly ever eat out, I’m always in the kitchen cooking, and another part of me feels like I can’t help it, I’m a New Yorker – I’m always out.

I constantly find myself wanting to go places, to visit restaurants and have random adventures. Frankly, I’m tired of emailing myself a link as a reminder… Continue Reading →
Gandhi Restaurant
Indian food is probably one of my favorite foods. Before becoming vegan I was very into Asian food (think Ahi Tuna and Salmon) but as a whole new world opened up to me about cooking, flavors and spices, so did new cultural cuisines. Generally most Indian food is vegetarian and most places are eager to accommodate as their flavor profiles won’t change much if they sub ingredients. I am lucky enough to live in Astoria, Queens where there are plenty of delicious vegan Indian restaurants. Continue Reading →
